Do you enjoy watching and reading comics for free? Designing good comics takes time and effort, and so does building and maintaining a publishing platform. Most online comics depend on a dreadful revenue model based on advertising, but there must be a better way. In an ideal world, comics should be free to preview online, but first and foremost, they should be free of unsolicited advertising clutter. Still, publishing any independent, advertising-free publication has costs. That’s where subscription is useful. The word subscribe comes from Latin subscribere, which means underwrite. Subscriptions from readers like you can underwrite the cost of creating comics before publication. Here is how you can become a subscriber, a patron, and an active member of SILENT COMICS.

Images are universal; almost everyone, regardless of their country and language, understands them. Wordless comics need no translation, except for their title. In English, Silent Comics is a good metaphor. It gives a context, tells what the project is about. How would you translate these two words?
